Bonjour! The only process to remove text burned in a 2D image that I was able "to cook up" involves shifting/zooming said image to hide text located near an edge followed by doing ⌘+C and ⌘+V to create another image.

Alternatively,  I have tried using the selector tool to highlight a rectangular region but I cannot subsequently do anything with the selection at all. Are there better ways as well as a way that you would allow removing/masking out a region anywhere in the image similar to cutting which is available for 3D volume rendered viewing?
Regards
