I am a (reasonably experienced) plugin developer, but I am struggling to get anything working on the new M1 chips. I get linking errors for the x86_64 architecture

I also notice that there are no plugins available to download for the new Macs. Is there a problem with developing for the new chip or have I just got a setting wrong?

Any advice/help/example/template would be great!

Thanks,
Jenny

Would probably need a bit more info. Are you attempting to build a plugin you developed? Build Horos?

You should be able to build a Universal2 plugin using Xcode 12 but if you are using one of the Xcode projects from the Horos or Horos plugins projects it may need some updates to the settings to handle it.

It is a certificate issue that prevents the connection to the Horos server to get the info. There is a workaround: https://groups.google.com/g/horos-project/c/yo8dKeZR8SI/m/5F5WSbH0BgAJ

For now, as far as I know, Horos is x86_64 only, running on Rosetta. Your plugins should target the x86_64 architecture only.
