We launched hornweb yesterday:

http://www.hornget.net/packages/

We have a service now that builds all the packages once a day and has them ready for download.

If this does not gain interest then this is a lost cause.

Cheers

Horn has a real team, real users, buy-in from several other high-profile OSS projects, and even some significant direct support from the commercial world. In OSS, it doesn't get any better, and you got there in just a few months. Congratulations to Paul and everyone involved!

Thanks,
Jason

Pending an update to the server, you'll soon be able to use a command line version also, as in:

horn-get -c orm -d nhibernate-2.1 -u http://hornget.net

which will download the nhibernate binaries from the web site. Pretty much all the functionality the web has is included in the command line client. Once the server is updated in the next day or two, it should be good to go.

sweet man - sweet!!!

i only started getting into nhib and fluent and all that fairly
recently - having previously only used llblgen - which is good also -

i got so lost trying to manage all the required dlls alone - i ended
up trying with sharp as it was a package and they were all nicely
compiled for me - but needed to update to a later version of nhib,
this cost me a lot, lot, lot of time and pain - i never did get that
working. and that's when i first tried hornget - if you've ever tried
building and managing all these dependancies yourself - you'll know
what an absolute god send hornget is!!!

i am eternally grateful for the work paul of the horn & dave of the
ninjas have put into this seriously excellent tool.

thanks guys - everytime i start up a new project or need to update an
existing one - i'm reminded how friking cool hornget is

:)

The name is so bad it is not going to change.

It has a "carry on", sid James ring to it.

I honestly cannot remember why we chose it.
