Sevika Sanghom Day September 11- Auction and Potluck Dinner

Dear Sisters in Christ,

“Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord;
let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.

and extol him with music and song." Psalm 95:1, 2

 

We will celebrate this year's Sevika Sangham Day on Sunday, September 11. The theme  is "Women: Defenders of Faith". The women in our church will be leading a special worship order, Bible readings, message and offertory collection. 

 

The annual auction and potluck dinner will be held on the same day in the Acker Hall soon after the Holy Communion service. The purpose of the auction is to praise God for His manifold blessings showered on us.

This year, the auction is coordinated by Sevika Sanghom and the Building Committee together.

From the proceeds of the auction, $3000 will be used for the Sevika Sanghom sponsored Charity/Mission activities and the remaining will go toward the Building Fund.

 

 Please bring vegetables, fruits, baked goods, snacks, pickles, and any other dishes you would like to contribute for auction.

 

This will be a time of thanksgiving and fellowship. I  request each and every family to participate in the auction and potluck dinner. Please sign up for the potluck dinner at the following link by Sunday, September 4^th. Bring your items to Acker Hall by 2:00 pm on Sunday September 11.

As announced we will celebrate Sevika Sanghom day  on Sunday ,September 11th . There will be a special SS Day offertory for the diocese. Please see the attached notice for details.

The harvest auction and fellowship dinner (potluck)  will be immediately after the service in Aker hall. Please bring  potluck dinner and auction items to Aker hall  by 1:30  PM.
