Beloved Christians
As you know, the Liberal government of Kathleen Wynne has introduced a new sex education curriculum that is repugnant to Christian morality. This same curriculum was rejected just a few years ago. In order to push this through they have kept the parents out of the process and ignorant from knowing what is in the curriculum until very recently.
The new curriculum is very graphic and not age appropriate.
1. They want to teach grade 1 children (aged 6) about male and female genitalia (i.e., the penis, the vagina, the vulva etc.)
2. In grade 3 (aged 8) they want to teach them about transgendered people who have gender identity/confusion issues as being normal. The text teaches a child that they are not necessarily the gender they were born, but they are the gender that they feel.
3. By grade 6 and 7 (aged 11 and 12) they want to teach children about anal sex and promoting masturbation for pleasure.
Teachers will be forced to teach the expectations and because this is government led, parents will not be notified about when they will be teaching these things, nor will they be permitted to pull their children out of school during these lessons. They will force it on our children.
The teacher, depending on their character, has the latitude to spend as much time as they want to use these topics as a departure point for class discussion.
The “Campaign Life Coalition” web site makes the following disturbing observation:
It's important to consider the fact that this curriculum was also written under the direction of an alleged child pornographer, Mr. Benjamin Levin. He was the Deputy Education Minister at the time, serving under then Education Minister Kathleen Wynne. Levin was charged by police with 7 counts of making and distributing child pornography. Although the man has not yet been proven guilty in a court of law, many people are questioning whether "grooming" could have been a reason for introducing these explicit subjects at such delicate ages. When an alleged pedophile is found to have been in charge of what many parents perceive to be age-inappropriate, Sex Ed curriculum, serious questions about the curriculum deserve to be asked. The safety of children is too important to ignore it.
The “Parents As First Educators” web site moderators have sponsored an online petition against these radical changes to the curriculum. (At present there is not physical petition that one can sign.) I urge you to get every adult in your family and your circle of friends to take the trouble to sign the online petition. The online petition requires an email address for each signature. Please make the effort. There are only 13,320 signatures as of the writing of this email.

We must pray about this and ask God to help us deliver our children from the temptations of this hedonistic society. We also must be ready to do whatever is necessary to arrange the lives of our children so that they will be protected.
