August at the Hopvine

We hope you are enjoying this wonderful summer. Though it has been hot there has been some amazing beer to cool you down. Every month  there is a new brewery and with the growth even more variety of beer and brewery styles. We had the Refresh beer this summer made by our friends at No Li. A kettle sour that had a tart but refreshing finish. Plentiful hopping with just the right amount of souring. We had some wonderful sours from Wander brewing up in Bellingham. There are other fantastic beers from that town up north. Including beer from Aslan, Kulshan, and or course Chuckanut. Look for more of those beers in the weeks ahead. We are having two fun beer events this month. Our friends from Hales will be in the House on Thursday the 13th at 7pm. We will showcase several of their fine beers. Meet the brewer and enjoy this special event.

We invite you to live music on the Saturday the 15th with Temple Canyon at 8pm. One of our favorite acts from the Open MIc Wednesday. Enjoy a night of acoustic originals. A perfect way to spend Saturday. 

On Thursday the 27th at 7pm Pacific Malt and Brewing Co. from Tacoma will pay a visit to the Hopvine. They are making some wonderful beers and we will be showcasing some of their best. Meet the brewer and maybe win some cool stuff.

Finally, don't for get Open Mic every Wednesday. Some amazing talent is showcased every week. And if you want to challenge yourself we have trivia every 2nd and 4th Tuesday
