Welcome to the end of the shortest and warmest winter ever. We love March, it is the beer month though it has never been officially designated. Spring brings the idea of warmer weather and different beers. The brewers are starting to use their 2014 hops. We still can sell a barley wine or two because it is still cold at night. St. Pats day is still fun for every beer drinker, even the non green ones. We have some fun events this March. To start,
Stoup Brewing is in the house on
Thursday the 12th at 7pm. They are making some amazing beer. They are great folks. Stop by and enjoy the fun of brew nights done the Hopvine way. If you like music the
Swells are playing on the 15th. They are an awesome jazz experience and you should check it out. We are starting to pour more ciders at the Hopvine and on the 19th we are introducing
Schilling Cider. Stop by to taste their great products. Finally, on the
26th we are pleased to have Bigtime, Anacortes, and Diamond Knot in the house. Our brewer friends collaborated on a brew togther and we will be able to taste the results. There will be other fun beers on tap and of course all the usual giveaways.
So Happy Spring to you. I hope your winter was wonderful. Dont worry your snowboard will be ready for next year. Get your pack out the mountains will be ready early.
