Hopvine Imperial Stout Festival This Thursday at 7pm

Imperial Stout is a fantastic beer for the winter and similar to the IPA's we have come to the love the Imperials are packed with flavor and hops. They were brewed to withstand the journey of the sea but in this case to Russia and not India. That is why Imperial Stouts are also know as Russian Imperial Stouts.  Like India pale ales they were brewed with a high percentage of malt and hops and full of complex flavor. We have selected a fantastic representation of the style. The highly rated Goose Island Bourbon County Stout, The Old School House Brewing Imperial Stout  which we have aged for six months, The amazing Deschutes Abyss which is highly sought after every year. Hales Barrel aged Imperial Stout a wonderful beer this year, Grandfather Raven from Black Raven, and Espresso Imperial Stout from Two Beers. Warm up and enjoy these amazing beers.
