June at the Hopvine

Welcome to early summer and all this amazing weather. It certainly makes one think of drinking beer and we have some wonderful light and flavorful beers for the sun. Like the Holy Mountain Wit. It is an amazing beer with the Belgian yeast the full flavored wheat and that hint of corriander. Also new to the Hopvine are some amazing beers from the fantastic brewing community of Bellingham. Aslan, Wander, Kulshan join with Boundary Bay as some of the best new breweries in the state. Look for their beers here in the coming weeks.

This month we are happy to have Schooner Exact back for a brewer event.Join us on Thursday the 11th at 7pm for the fun. The Hopvine IPA they made for our 15th anniversary is back. It is a wonderful beer that will also be in cans this year. Stop by and meet the brewer and try some of their other amazing beer. Nicole might even be carrying on her beer trivia. Coming later in the month we are featuring New Belgium for a brewer event on Thursday the 25th at 7pm. They will be featuring their sour IPA which will challenge your palate with both sourness and bitterness from hops. At the end of the month look for a night of jazz with Buck and the Rays on Saturday the 27th at 8pm. A pleasant night of jazz favorites for you weekend. Michael is working the smoker and look for some fun things for specials during June. The amazing Roasted garlic soup makes its last round for the year so get in before its gone. We hope your summer is fantastic and thanks for being with us at the Hopvine for some fresh and wonderful beer and a menu that matches your hop choices.
Cheers from everyone at the 'Vine.
