February at the Hopvine Pub
We know you love our little fireplace at the Hopvine, that almost cheesy flame that makes you think of logs and wood smell. Soon we will be putting it away as Spring returns, the picnic tables get cleaned up, and we get our first 70 degree afternoon. Until then, we still have big wonderful winter beers that are full of flavor and alcohol and warm you in this coldest month. We had a an amazing imperial staout from Bigtime and we have another Deschutes Abyss coming on next week. For those who would like a break on hops we have the Blood Orange Gose from Anderson Valley. Surprisingly, the Gose is becoming one of their biggest selling beers. We also our proud to pour Standard's Double IPA which was made for the Pubs. It is a fantastic beer. We our proud of Justin, the brewer and owner, who once graced our presence as an employee at the Hopvine.
Congrats Schooner Exact

We are celebrating Schooner Exact and the Hopvine Pub IPA this month on
Thursday February 18th at 7pm . The beer was brewed for our 15th anniversary and it went on to become the best of show in a prestigious Belgium beer tasting. It was not the winner of the category-- it was the judged the best beer out of 1200 beers. We love the beer and want to salute the brewers and Matt for making such a fantastic product, which we were part of. Luckily for everyone it is now being brewed year round. Stop by on the 18th and be part of the fun.
Hopvine IPA. Brewed in a post-modern Northwest IPA fashion, this beer’s lightly-sweet malt base balances the Chinook and Columbus hops and huge late additions of Citra hops for flavor and aroma. Full of flavor, this beer is like drinking straight off the hopvine.

Our Friends at Rooftop Brewing
There are close to 300 breweries in the State of Washington and nationwide there are breweries opening at almost 2 a day. One of the newer breweries is Rooftop. Though they have been opened a couple years they have recently expanded and are able to sell beer outside the brewery. They went from a 1 barrel to 15 barrel brewhouse. Importantly the beers have been excellent. Join us to meet the brewer and try some special beer on Thursday February 25th at 7pm.
Music at the Pub
We continue to run one of the longest Open Mics in the city. Thanks Justin for hosting and making it so much fun. For you up and coming musicians stop by on a Wednesday at 7:30 to sign up. On Saturdays we have music as well, and this month on the 20th it is Motrecraft acoustic duo at 8pm. On Saturday the 27th we will be continuing our Solo Singer Songwriter night at 9pm. Don't forget Trivia the second and fourth of the month. Thanks for being at the Hopvine. Cheers.
