 SQL Server DBA

Location: Strongsville, OH

Interview :Phone or Skype

 

Required:

1. 5+ years’ experience required as SQL Server DBA, supporting versions 2008 thru 2017.
2. Experience with installing, maintaining and upgrading SQL Server within VMWare virtualized environment.
3. Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SSIS, SSRS and database monitoring tools.  

Desired:

1. Microsoft SQL Server Certification preferred.
2. Experience with SQL Server Always On for high availability.
3. Experience with SQL Server replication for copying and distributing data.

 

Candidate Responsibilities

1. Support assigned projects and meet project targets on time unless variances are approved.  Deliver Service for supported areas within SLAs.
2. Ensure database and related software is kept current or on supported levels, is recoverable, and adheres to standards and best practices.
3. Deliver and support high quality database platforms and processes that meet availability, capacity and performance requirements to support the business.

 

Project Detail

1. Provide DBA support for SQL Server upgrade project.
2. Install and configure new SQL Server 2016 database systems.
3. Support SQL database upgrade and migration activities.
