Laura asked: I just ordered the Allergy Blend. I was wondering if you ever recommend taking this orally in a glass of water and if so how many drops? A friend (who sells another essential oil brand recommended I try 2 drops lemon, 2 drops lavender, 2 drops peppermint in a glass of water as needed, working down to once a day. So, I just wasn't how many drops of the blend to try in water.

Also, is there any risk of taking essential oils orally while pregnant? I saw your list of EOs to avoid/take with caution.

Hi Laura,
The oils in Allergy Relief can be taken internally, but I think you'll have better results by putting a drop on the back of your hand and licking it off (thus a "drop on the tongue"). This way the oils get right into your system instead of being diluted with all your stomach acids. It's not "tasty," but the disagreeableness of the taste is short-lived. If a capsule or downing with water sounds better to you, that is fine. I received a testimony today and have emailed the lady for specifics for how she uses it. I use the drop on the tongue method myself :-)
Here's the testimony:
Jocelyn wrote about ALLERGIES: I'm so glad I found you! I've been taking Allergy Relief for about 3 months now and haven't had any allergy issues this spring. Everyone around me says that allergies are horrible this year, and I just reply, "Not mine! I started taking Allergy Relief from Heritage Essential Oils." Hopefully, I can convince some others to try your products! Blessings to you all!

Taking Allergy Relief as we've described, I know of no risk during pregnancy.

Many blessings,
Linda
