I use three different oils for when I'm feeling down. I choose the one I want based on the smell - whichever smells best to me at the time. Solace is the best example. It varies the most from replusive to amazing. The other two are Grateful and Renew. They never smell replusive, but they do vary from okay to amazing. Hope this helps!! - Loretta

that is very interesting.  Do you think how they smell has something to do with what you need at that time?

That is what Loretta indicated. I have felt much the same. There are a few oils that I have not cared a lot for (aroma), but on some occasions, I find the aroma soothing. It "resonates" with me sometimes, and other times it doesn't.

I don't get that about the smell.   All of them smell weird to me but I know the Digestion Support works and the Plague Defense works for me even if I don't like the smell.

The original topic was about using oils for "feeling down," so the nature of Loretta's comments was about the aroma and how she used them to lift her 'mood.' Aromas play a part in helping a person cope. For example, most people will stop to smell a rose as they walk past one. They inhale deeply and sometimes inhale again before moving on. Why? Because the aroma of rose is very uplifting.

Loretta and others have noted that sometimes they find an aroma "amazing" and others times the same aroma can be "repulsive," so they use the oil that is the most amazing to help them out of "feeling down."

I hope that helps :-)  ~ Linda
