What blend would you recommend for a six year old with chronic bronchitis?

For young children we find these oils, when use appropriately, safe and effective:

Bronchitis Blend (by Valerie Worwood):
1 drop Niaouli
2 drops Myrtle
Dilute in about 1-teaspoon carrier oil and apply to back and chest over the lung area.

Diffuse: Choose one or a combination of the essential oils above to diffuse.

Suppository: Pneumonia, chronic bronchitis and lung congestion respond very quickly to essential oils when delivered by suppositories. The essential oils bypass the liver and are fed directly into the heart-lung circulatory system. Thus, they reach the lower bronchial capillaries in their original lipophilic and volatile state, still capable of eliminating pathogenic microorganisms and dissolving and expectorating mucus. If helpful, a suppository can be used every 1-2 hours as needed. A quick way to use a suppository is to put 1-3 drops of Lung Healing blend, Rosemary ct. verbenone, Myrtle or another mild oil of choice into an empty capsule and fill the rest full with a carrier oil such as Olive or Castor oil. Lubricate the capsule liberally and insert. Lie down or recline for about 30 minutes as the essential oils dissolve the capsule and move into the lungs. Always test your application on yourself before you apply to your child. Adjust the dilution if needed.

Suppository for a Baby:
Put 1 drop essential oil (choose a mild one such as Rosemary ct. verbenone, Myrtle or Lung Healing) into a capsule and fill with a carrier oil (such as virgin Coconut oil or Olive oil). Lubricate well, and with the baby's knees bent to the chest, gently insert. Try to allow the baby/child to remain at rest about 30 minutes while it dissolves. If noticeably effective, repeat when/if the improvement wanes. Since essential oils are eliminated out of the body tissues in 1-2 hours, a suppository can be inserted every 1-2 hours as needed.

More Thoughts from Others:
We've used a diluted mixture of Myrtle and Eucalyptus Radiata. Sweet Marjoram is known to lift bronchial congestion and is used for COPD and asthma as well.

We went through this with my daughter when she was a toddler. We found that she was intolerant of wheat. We took wheat out of her diet and three weeks later she had rosy cheeks, her cough had healed and the dark rings under her eyes had disappeared.

Myrtle and Hyssop var. decumbens are a gentle and powerful respiratory combination. I would like to try diffusing one of the conifers during the day.

A suppository method works really well using appropriate essential oils. I've used Rosemary ct. verbenone and Eucalyptus radiata with good results. Just 1 drop. I've used this method for years, and it works quickly. Over time, the chronic nature should lessen.

We've used Ravensara, Rosalina, or Eucalyptus Radiata with some Mandarin and or Lemon diluted with coconut oil for bronchitis on our children.

I diffuse Ravensara and apply a blend of Lavender, Frankincense and Ravensara in coconut oil.

My three favourite oils for any kind of lung infection are Ravensara, Hyssop var. decumbens and Thyme ct. linalool. We diffuse these and dilute and apply to chest,  back and bottoms of feet.

I diffuse a combo of Ravensara, Eucalyptus Radiata and Rosemary for all respiratory issues. I dilute this combo as well and apply to back, chest and bottoms of feet.
