Robert asked - My wife is 38 weeks pregnant with our forth child. Our first three had jaundice when they were born. Are there any EOs that prevent jaundice or that can help it go away quickly once baby is born? Thanks for your help.

Lori answered - Look into the Digestion Support blendYou need a carrier like coconut oil or olive oil. My son had jaundice too and continued to have a sluggish digestive system, and I rubbed it on his tummy 2-3 times a day until he was cleaned out. Sadly, we didn't have this at the time he was going through the jaundice, but I know it worked for us.

Linda responded - The Digestion Support is a great one to have on hand and use. It is not a hot blend, so a little dilution should be perfect. Always try the oils on a small area first and wait a while to be sure it does not aggravate the skin. Also consider the Liver/Gallbladder blend applied over the baby's liver (it is diluted, but you may want to dilute it a bit more for a newborn). In Aromatherapy A-Z by Patricia Davis, she suggests massaging the oils gently over the whole area of the liver, stomach and abdomen (there is no indication that she is referring to jaundice in a newborn, but rather an adult). You may also, or alternatively, apply the oils to the bottoms of feet. I read a testimony long ago where a lady gave her newborn a enema to eliminate jaundice.
