Informative article about Vitamin D Blood Levels
Spending some time daily in the sunshine is the preferable vitamin D over supplements, but for those who must take supplements, their research found that it is best to take fat-soluable nutrients with the meal of the day that contains the most fat.

Vitamins A, D, E and K are fat soluble
Vitamins B and C are water soluble

D3 levels can be easily tested with a finger prick test available from Vitamin Council.

Levels should be 60-80 ng/ml optimal. (Per experienced neurodevelopmentalist: Most range recommendations are too low.)

Has anyone used  My labs for Life?  It seems the website doesn't work  well or I'm doing something wrong.   I was trying to find out more info.  It says something about going to a local lab.  How does that work keeping things 'private'.   It said tests had to be ordered by a healthcare provider.  Confused.

Thanks,
Dorothea

Dorothea,

You order the test and have the blood drawn locally.

Click on ORDER LABS NOW.
Choose the type of testing you need, for example: thyroid, allergy, kidney and so on.
Next page has some detail information and then specific tests.
Purchase the test you want and print it out.
Take the printed Lab order to the nearest Lab Corp center.
To find Lab Corp centers, click on the tab at the top of their website: Find Lab Near You.
The results of the test are mailed to you.

Blessings, Linda
