Linda asks: Any recommendations on allergies? When my 7-year-old son goes out to play, his eyes are horribly swollen. I am looking at them now & it almost looks like the inside pink is swelling so that it covers the white of his eye. Any suggestions? We started Vitamin C about a week ago.

Hi Linda,

My first thoughts on this would be diet - heal the gut. Consider the GAPSdiet.com or BodyEcology.com

Lavender is a natural antihistamine. Many find that putting a drop on the back of a hand and licking it off helps curb allergy symptoms.

The following information was posted by Kay, a passionate-about-health neurodevelopmentalist. Besides using the oils, these things may be worth considering:

1 gram of Vit C/hour
Multiple B's once daily
Try to improve the diet as much as possible.

*Pantothenic Acid acts almost like a steroid - boosting adrenal function, etc. That's what I used to get rid of hives twice, and it worked great.

Also look into trying Yamoa - it's pricey but may be helpful -
I'd be interested to see if yamoa works - 40% success rate? Worth a try

Consider Glyconutrients - no down side that I know of

I hope this helps and that the Lord will lead you to the answers for you son's allergy symptoms.
Linda
