I continued using and replaced arrowroot powder for cornstarch (that's what the recipe originally said use). Anyway, my arms are looking better, but they are still not clear and are kind of itchy. I noticed I had two swollen spots (one smaller than the other). Anyway, long story short, I found a fibroid cyst under my arm about a year ago, so I went to my doc. He prescribed Bactrim DS antibiotic and said he thought this was my lymph nodes swollen. Just wanting to see if anyone had experienced this and if there was maybe another route than antibiotic.

Linda S. wrote: Instead of an antibiotic, I'd use Warrior essential oil. Here's my story:
I first experimented with blending the Warrior oils together when I had a serious episode with boils under my arm. When my husband and I started using a natural essential oil deodorant, we were warned that eventually our underarms would have a detox event with sores/boils since we'd used commercial deodorants for many years before converting to natural things. Things went along fine for over a year, and then my husband started getting the sores. My 'event' didn't come on me until I was pushing myself physically and burning the candle late into the nights. The boils just got worse and worse. Since I am normally a strong, healthy person, it surprised me that nothing I did seemed to help, but everything I’d tried was topical (heat and essential oils). One evening as I asked the Lord to help me bring this to resolution, I felt Him tell me it was "internal," and this led me to blend these oils together (Warrior) and take them internally. Within six hours my boils began to be less inflamed. Twenty-four hours later, the redness was gone along with most of the tenderness. Forty-eight hours later there was not a sign of a boil. I took Warrior, 3 drops in a capsule (undiluted, but I don’t have a sensitive stomach), four times a day. I was quite impressed and coined the name “Warrior” at that time. I began mixing it up for my friends when they had any issues that you might consider needing an anti-biotic for. This blend eventually became the most popular blend we sell. UPDATE: Now that a few years have passed since I used Warrior for the boils, is that the blend is perhaps slightly more effective when applied to the bottoms of feet. It's a much easier application and avoids the possibility of irritating the stomach.

I never stopped using my natural essential oil deodorant. Lately I've been using Briar Rose Moisturizing Spray. It's working very well and smells wonderful :-)

Linda,  Do you sell natural essential oil deoderant? If not, how would I make it?

Hi Sheri,

We don't make/sell natural deodorant. I've been using Briar Rose Moisturizing Spray with great success, and this past week I have only used Magnesium spray. You can read about that on this Forum. Search for "Magnesium Functions" or click on the words to follow the link. There has been a lot of discussion about this on the HEO Facebook Group page where you can search for "deodorant." Maybe you could ask someone to post a recipe :-)

Personally, I like the simplicity of adding my favorite essential oils to a carrier oil. If you'd like to make your own, I'd suggest that you start with about 80 drops of essential oils to an ounce of your preferred carrier oil. I put this in a glass spray bottle and just spray it on. Enjoy!

Blessings, Linda
