HOPE-minutes 3/27/2010
• Studio Pictures have been taken for the table décor.
• Dancers are still practicing.
• Location is reserved per Dean Kahler.
• Food Committee working on finalizing rental needs this week.
• Donors: Dean has two $1000 donations, continuing asking for monetary donations and silent auction items.
• Vision of HOPE distributed. Please read before the next meeting. Send suggestion to L. Ore. We will also discuss at the next meeting.
• Website is live, but under construction: hopebg.org
• Website and other materials are working on being posted in English and Spanish.
• Printing costs… either get bids or ask Bowling Green Printing (a friend of a member, Roxana). Elio can do the printing of tickets and posters. Roxana will check on printing of decals.
• Website cost $71 for one year.
• Media- Burton will make contact with local media for another story.
• “Organisation” in Logo needs to be changed to Organization.
• Servers: Roberto to identify what he needs. Roxanne to check with a friend about coordinating the food plating for the event.
• Carol is our contact at the church facility.
• Maria Celeste was contacted via Facebook by Julia. She will not be able to attend this year, but if contacted earlier in the future she is willing to assist HOPE.
• The event will be precisely scripted by Dean and at least one member from each committee.
• Being punctual (on time) is a must for this event!!! This also means all practices leading up to the event.
• Menu on table-Possibly portions in Spanish, also list sponsors at bottom or on back.
• “El Sabor de Latino America”-Spanish translation to be used for “A Tasts of Latin America”
• Wednesday, March 31st-Going to Warren Central HS and BGHS. 10-10:30 am at WCHS & 12:45-1:15 pm at BGHS.
• Budget: $1700 in bank, $71 for website, about $1300 for rental of dinnerware.
• April 10th at 9am is the next meeting.
• Bring Sponsors and new members!!
