The Australian sports awards season has come to an end. Listed below are Australian Paralympic athletes, coaches and administrators that have been recognised in recent months. Their Wikipedia articles where available have been updated as part of the Paralympics Australia History Project.  Several national sports organisations and states will announce their awards in early 2020.

This is amazing! Thanks so much for doing this.

I have added it to the Paralympic Stories site - https://paralympichistory.org.au/article/the-award-winners-for-2019/?article_category=43&scrubber=100.

I remember that you also noted the Australia Day and Queen’s birthday list people at some stage so I will try to add them to the site.

Eventually, this could be a good feature to add to the Paralympic Stories site going back down the years.

I also wonder if there is a way of creating these lists in Wikipedia so that we can ensure their protection?

I would be interested in what others think.

Hi Tony

That’s great. I will add awards from earlier in the year. Also I have a list for 2016, 2017 and 2018.

It’s possibly too hard to create this list on Wikipedia.
