Dutch Hill 2/11

We skied two laps at Dutch Hill today. There is about 3" of new snow on top of a 23" bottom base, 36" summit base. Only one skier ahead of us on our 10am start. Parking was all plowed out, 30F. We had a fabulous run on Christiana, still lots of loose silky snow up there. A second run on a glade trail was also fabulous. The wind has gotten in but mostly it just smoothed things out. On the low-pitched Meadows Glade the snow was too deep to really be skiable, you could mostly keep going if you just pointed straight down, but still had to push in places, although Steve on his smooth-bottomed skis did better than I did on my waxless.
