DHASH Sunday 2/15 report

The Sunday 2/15 Intro to Dutch Hill tour had six skiers, two who were new to Dutch Hill. We did one and a half to three laps, depending on interest. Skiing is still excellent although powder is harder to find. Top of Yankee Doodle had small moguls. We didn't ski the Lift Line but everywhere else had solid cover. 23" at the bottom, 35" at the top.
The tour was followed by our Annual Meeting. We determined that we need more volunteers for fall trail work days. If you don't already help out at Dutch Hill or your local trail system, please consider sending an email to in...@dhash4vt.org
expressing your interest in helping us keep Dutch Hill open for skiing. We are all volunteers and some of our volunteers are "aging out" of being able to carry tools up a mountain and clear brush all day. If you can find the time to ski or ride on a powder day you can find the time to help out in the fall.
At least thirty cars came and went at Dutch Hill Sunday.
