Hello everyone,

Election Information
This is a reminder that the General Election will take place November 6th at Cawley Middle School (89 White Hall Road).
Polls are open 6:00AM to 7:00PM.
Some polling aspects will being instituted by election officials, to make your voting experience better organized and ease of flow of voter crowd.
The Cawley school will still be open for the students and teachers as a regulat school day.
So we will all need to be cooperative with the hectic election attendance, along with the school's valid request to respect their property and day's operations.
Traffic will arrive from Whitehall Road, and leave through the rear gate of the school to Farmer Road.
The actual polling place inside will be switched to sideways format, as was done for the presidential election in 2016 -- to accommodate the anticipated larger 7,000 voter (70%) turnout. Absentee ballot count so far is coming in high as well.
There will be plenty of trained election volunteers to assist voters through the lines, and to answer any questions or resolve any issues.
We only ask that your positive patience is excercised in the voter lines and voting experience.
We don't know the peaks of voter attendance, so please prepare for additional time to come to vote... typically 6am to 11am is high peak, as well as 4pm to 7pm.
Mid-day typically has more of a lull, but not much less than peak times.
Everyone should come to vote! We hope the day runs smoothly, with everyone's patience and cooperation.
 Enjoy your voting day!
