John Lyscars wanted me to post this petition for citizens to consider.

The petition simply asks that a full time armed SRO be stationed at each of the three Hooksett schools.

Safety is always a number one priority. The school board years prior made certain that each school had double pass doors to isolate people. The layout of the schools doesn't give easy access to classrooms as well.
I have also wondered whether the school's policies on bullying and the approach to mainstreaming student with learning disabilities has created an environment where students are less often to bully and when such things happen the staff jump into action and diffuse the issue.
Kids are kids, but I think people like Mr. Largy have made a significant difference when keeping students on track.
Do we need armed guards? I am not that certain if we need the added security, but these days it is worth the discussion.
Chime in, what are your thoughts out there?
Best regards,
Todd
