Hi,

I haven't tried it since Dec 2012 (at that time, hoodle was available
on windows and then I do not have an available windows machine since
then). Main obstacle was installation of gtk2hs and poppler. Now I
have a concrete plan to make hoodle available on all the major
platforms, including windows. I hope that I can make windows installer
before the end of this year.

Also, does your install plan include poppler? Will it be possible to highlight and note pdfs?

Up to now, I made some slow partial progress towards the goal
(installing hoodle on windows) by making some flags to turn off linux
specific codes.

PDF annotation is definitely one of the best advantages of hoodle. by
default, poppler is included. On Windows, it's untested with poppler
though, since I was also unsuccessful to install poppler on Windows
when I tried some years ago.
