Below is the invitation to the ATA's Japanese Language Division dinner. Anyone involved with J<>E translation is welcome to attend, whether attending the ATA conference or not.

Please join us for a taste of Italy and an evening of great conversation
with colleagues and special guests from the Japanese Consulate's office!
Please note that you do not need to be a member of the JLD to attend.
Spouses and other guests are welcome.

Special Announcement

Through the energetic and persevering efforts of Izumi Suzuki (former JLD
Administrator and former ATA Board Member), the Consul General of Japan for
New York will join our JLD dinner as a special guest!
The current Consul General, Ambassador Shinichi Nishimiya, was an
interpreter earlier in his career, and he is very eager to support
translators and interpreters. Additionally, one of the Consuls at the
Consulate General, Consul Rumiko Ishigami, who is in charge of
interpreting/translation at the Consulate General, has also accepted our
invitation to the JLD Dinner this year.

* Children are welcome at the dinner. Please note the number of children who
will attend in order to reserve seating. Do not prepay for children who
will order from the children's menu at the restaurant.

Whitestone Ct., Silver Spring, MD 20901. A receipt will be sent to your
email address as a word file.

(For those residing in Japan, payment may be made directly via wire transfer

LATE RESERVATIONS

depending on space availability.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Once we've submitted a count to the restaurant on October 20, we will be
unable to offer refunds. Substitutions, however, are welcome.
