Automatic Proofreading tools for Japanese

Hi, there,

As you know, MS-Word has a spelling error detection function. There
are other software like StyleWrite for proofreading tools.

I am wondering if there are any software as Japanese proofreading
tools detecting mis-wordings, wrongful usage of Kanji, lack of words/
characters, wrong conjugational ending added in kana after a Kanji and
etc.

Again, I like to stress that I am not looking for translation
software. I need a Japanese proofreading tool.

Microsoft's Word 2007 has proofreading packs as well for various languages.
It is not only correct spelling mistakes.

I don't think you meant wrongful here. Also, what would be wrong use of
kanji? A computer program will have difficulty determining proper context to
say whether or not a particular kanji fits in a sentence. The same goes for
conjugation. Sure, you can build in some tests for matching tense, but the
human language is quite flexible in mixing tenses.

Software still cannot replace human proofreading.

Did for me too. Brought back memories of language instruction back in the
day. The teachers always seemed to respond to a question by giving you
something else to worry about, without ever bothering to answer you in the
first place.
