Annoying Japanese term (3) 「及び／又は」

Dear Translators,

Although it seems to be the official term for ISO, I cannot stand this ugly Japanese term 「及び／又は」for "and/or".    Does anyone out there have any suggestion for a better translation?

確かに「及び/又は」は、日本語として不自然で、英語からの直訳であることがバレバレですね。

私個人は、普通、A and/or B は、AやBで済ませています。

さきほど来からの「所望」なども確かに古色蒼然とした表現で、特殊な分野でしか使われていないものと思わ
れます。「所定の」くらいならいいと思うのですが。

「など」は、並べた名詞などの後に付くので、その次にまた名詞を付けるのは難しいような気がします。

特許裁判の判例に次の記述があるのを見つけました。

ＪＩＳの「規格票の様式及び作成方法 ＪＩＳ Ｚ ８３０１」（甲４）によれば，「及び／又は」の用語が「並列する二つの語句を併合したもの及びいずれか一方の３通りを一括して示す場合」に用いられることが認められる。

まさしく、Hermanさんの言う「両方[全部]あるいはいずれか」 ですが、意味は説明していても、文章の中に入れると、その文の流れが止まります。規制や法律関連以外では「や」が良いかも知れませんね。

長坂さん、やはり「や」でしょうかね。しかし、「及び／又は」のような直訳語が前篇直訳だらけのISO文書だけでなく、JISで定義されていたとは驚きです。漢字の使用法も含めて、私には、我慢ならん言葉です。

It's always surprised me that despite having a word which means "and/or" some Japanese writers use 及び\又は.  

The other westernism I've noticed is X、Y、及び Z.
