A semiconductor patent I'm translating mentions the term チキソ性 when discussing the various components of the conductive resin film used therein. Evidently チキソ性 is a desirable quality that can be enhanced by certain proportions of the components. Can anyone confirm for me that this term is thixotropy? Am I way off base here?

     Yep:
チキソトロピー(チキソ性、揺変性) - thixotropy
