I find:

which makes me think of a product that has not been "fully" commercialized.
If this were automobiles, I would think of a "concept car", built to look
interesting and try out ideas but not in production.
I can't think of exactly the right term for this just now.

Clearly 留型 is an unusual term since Google gives only 10 hits, but among
them I find a definition here:

Although this reference defines the term for kimono patterns, perhaps the
same meaning is intended in your case. Apparently it means products produced
for one specific reseller or retail outlet. I think these are called
"exclusives" or such in English.
