These two are driving me crazy.

 

Dear All

 

Can anyone help with appropriate translations for the following?

 

カンコツ as in:

 

文章は「検査規格書の内容が、管理工程図・作業標準書に落とし込まれているか?

作業者が見て作業が出来る、また判断が出来る、道具があるか?

MYQA・品質ポイント・カンコツetc)

 

and 勘合 as in:

 

設計を含んで又は組立完成品として受注した部品は、安全運転、政府規制、勘合/ 機能等への適合に影響を及ぼす品質特性(特殊特性)を決定し、工程管理を行う。

That should be read カン・コツ, as in having an "intuitive understanding"
of and the "knack" for a particular job.

In your sentence, I would probably use "fit and finish," although in
more specific instances, "mating" is the preferred term.
