Can't get JDIC

The Monash U site keeps timing out. Is something wrong with JDIC now?

I just tried and got a "timed out" message. Considering the time in OZ, the powers at Monash may be working on their system.

I had this trouble the last few days, and thought there was a problem on their end.

Did you try another mirror? That's what I do whenever one host is slow or down.

The Monash WWWJDIC server is indeed having some issues. For the time being, I recommend people use one of the other sites. The list is available at: https://www.edrdg.org/wwwjdic/wwwjdicmirrors.html

A couple of weeks ago Monash installed monitoring software which seems to interact badly with the server function, resulting in very sluggish performance. I'll keep you posted.
