I am now translating a patent and encountered a word, "additisation."
It is seemingly used in the field of lubrication but the corresponding
word in Japanese was not found.
I guess that the word means to add additives, but the context of the
sentences found on Internet are different.

Any thoughts will help.

技術的なことは知りませんが、潤滑油再生の過程に添加剤調整というのがあるようです。

何か、こうした作業でしょうか。

Yes, your understanding is correct. I have encountered the verb
"additize" in the course of lubricant-related work, and have used the
phrase "additized with" in my translations on a few occasions.

Thanks Robert and Masako

I googled additize and found following page and found the definition as
follows.

Rather than repeatedly use the awkward phrase " addition of an additive,"
the petroleum industry coined the word "additize."

Additise is also used for the same meaning as additize and its noun may be
additisation.
