I tried changing the setting to a few different languages, and it
looks like Japanese is the only one that actually sticks that on
there. さんからの引用 may be a better option as a translation for "wrote:",
but wouldn't something like "下記、引用文" be more natural?
On the other hand, is there really any need for anything at all?
If you're going to petition Google to do something, get them to get
rid of it altogether.
