"International Location Number" in Japanese

Dear Colleagues,

translating a German document I have come across an
"International Location Number" (this seems to be the
"official" translation of German Internationale Lokationsnummer
ILN). This ILN is said to be used to identify e.g. companies and
their daughter companies worldwide, but I could not find a
Japanese term for it.

If you know a Japanese "standard" expression for this
number, please let me know.

I don't know about any International Location Number, but you seem to be
describing the Global Location Number (GLN) or something very similar to it.

Here is a Japanese page describing the GLN:

Here, they give 国際標準の事業所コード.

I don't know, but perhaps you can sort them out.

I guess the GLN and ILN are the same thing.

Might it be productive to try to internationally standardize the name of the
international standard? In an internationally standardized manner, of
course.
