with the original Japanese description, the 余白 would be the space in
which the crane-servicing trainee would write what they think should be
the sales *pitch* for the *parts* that they think should be used for
servicing the crane that, ummm, needs servicing.
Without seeing the original document I don't know if that's an accurate
interpretation, but FWIW.

やはりsales pitchのpitchなのですね。
そうかなとも思ったのですが、サービスマンが部品を売り込むというのが
ピンと来なかったので、皆さまのご意見をお伺いした次第です。
Carlさんの説明で少し納得できました。
原稿はPPTで、Parts Pitchと書かれたところの上には、
この研修プログラムの名称が書かれているだけなのです。
「売り込み」の線で考えてみます。
