I'm drawing a blank on what to call the category of magazines known as 生活
誌.

The text is talking about two magazines specializing in handicrafts, and
calls them "「手作り」を楽しむ生活誌。"

I understand that fashion magazines like Cosmo, and homemaking magazines
like Better Homes and Gardens would also fall under this category.

Is there a good name for this in English?

Regards,
Ryan

"Lifestyle magazines" was what first came to mind for me.

Could you call them "lifestyle magazines?" That seems to have currency in Canada anyway.

And here in the States, I agree that these are "lifestyle magazines."

Thanks to Jocelyne, Kevin and Karen. This looks like what I'm after.
