Translation is educational.
The word ディスコン appears in a document.
What does it mean?

says it means "discontinued" (i.e., a product that is
no longer manufactured and sold). But

says it stands for "disk control", and the accompanying
video shows that this is a game that sure looks like
a complete, iceless, broomless rip-off of

To me, "discontinued" is most familiar. It's an example of poular jargon in any industry or company having overseas operations. You can interpret it as "disk control." Here again, it's all context-dependent, anyway.
