After I created this group, I tried forwarding to this new list the
off-list messages I have received about this topic, but apparently
something went wrong. Probably user error. ;-)

I think I will try to simply post the content of the messages and
create discussions with the content of the messages.

I have posted the off-list messages with my replies as separate
discussions, and it seems to have worked this time.

I am replying to this new list as a test to make sure that the list is
set up correctly and that I am receiving list messages in my inbox.
