Hi Evan and Dorothy
Long time since I've messaged you both. Hope you're well. Need some urgent help please.
We need to do a short video for our State of the World's Children's report launch and are seeking your help in finding a young person (preferably in their 20s or below) who can interview and film a person with a disability. The email below has more information and I've attached a loose script to help with what we need. The script is meant to serve as guidance on technical and content basics. However, we strongly encourage the film maker to be creative and implement her or his own style, making each project an attractive stand-alone piece within the concept of the 2 Lives: 2 Miles Apart documentary series. The raw footage will be sent to NY for editing. We have a small allowance to help with the making of this film and would appreciate your assistance and response soon.
Let me know if you have any questions. Many many thanks

2 Lives: 2 Miles Apart Series in Republic of the Fiji Islands for SOWC Launch
Hi Samantha,
My name is Etienne Leue. I work for UNICEF’s Social and Civic Media section in New York with Gerrit Beger.
Different teams in DOC are working closely together to produce compelling materials to promote this year’s SOWC and the issue of children with disabilities. In terms of video, that we anticipate to work well on digital channels, specifically social media, we are looking to repeat last year’s success of the 2 Lives: 2 Miles apart documentary series with the second edition of the series of short documentaries. While last year’s documentaries reflected the realities of children in the context of urbanization, this year we will focus on disability. After narrowing down a country selection in close consultation with the Disabilities Section, we would love to work with your office to highlight the lives of two disabled children in your country and bring visibility to achieved successes and remaining challenges.
Please allow me, to give you some general information about the project. For specific information about last year’s documentaries and links to all produced pieces, please check out the attached
