I have worksheets for my Stats course that I have used in class. The students would work on them, and then as a class we would go over them. Last semester, once classes went online, I had students do them at home, scan them with their phones, and upload them. It worked well, but what is missing is the immediate feedback (I was providing the answer key once the due date had passed). Is there any way to have a student automatically have access to the key once an assignment is uploaded? I do realize the potential for cheating, but the assignments are low-stakes (and thus are not a large part of the grade), but do help them prepare for the exams.

I often give the final answer and just grade the show work part. That might work if you had a few steps to get the final answer. This was a chemistry class so the liked that they knew they had it right before turning it in. I don't know about the Canvas end of it.

I actually did start doing that (providing the final answer) for some of the problems on each worksheet last semester when the class went online, and am continuing it this semester. It may be the best way to do what i am trying to accomplish.

The answer key to the world-famous textbook, College Yiddish, by Uriel Weinreich. The answers were prepared by the late Naomi Prawer-Kadar and Bina Weinreich; at an earlier stage, Sonia Pinkusowicz-Dratwa and Chava Lapin also participated in the work. The manuscript was typed by Shaindel Fogelman, edited by Gosia Zaremba and reviewed by Paul Glasser.

As of 2018-19, only the grades 5 and 8 Statewide Science Assessment is still being administered. For information about those assessments, visit the Statewide Science Assessment page of the FDOE website. Practice materials for the Florida Standards Assessments (FSA) are available on the FSA Portal.

The FCAT 2.0 Sample Test and Answer Key Books were produced to prepare students to take the tests in mathematics (grades 3-8) and reading (grades 3-10). Sample Test and Answer Key Books for grades 5 and 8 science are available on the Statewide Science Assessment page. The Sample Question Books are designed to help students become familiar with FCAT 2.0 questions and to offer students practice answering questions in different formats. The Sample Answer Keys are designed to be used by teachers to explain to students the answers and solutions to the questions in the Sample Question Books and to identify which Next Generation Sunshine State Standards benchmark is being tested by the question.

Those pesky answer keys tend to run away and hide right before you need them! Don't worry. You're not the only one this happens to. Please download a digital copy of the answer key you need at no charge. And then keep an eye on it so it doesn't escape again!

When first setting up a new multiple-question assignment, set the default points assigned per question. This makes it easy to quickly adjust points per question right at the start. After creating the assignment, select multiple questions by checking the box and adjusting the question type, formatting the response options, or aligning standards to multiple questions all at once.

Add a custom header to the open response question type. In this area, additional instructions can be entered and displayed right above the response area on a printed form or online in the student portal. This header space provides an opportunity to include additional instructions, tips, formulas, or other information for the students.

To fill in the rest of the answer form with lines without knowing the exact number, simply edit the open response question type and adjust the capture area to Fill Rest of Current Page. This will automatically add the capture area needed to finish the page.

In the question editor window, adjust the question numbering to support multi-step questions. For example use 1a, 1b, and 1c, to indicate three parts to one question. Creating multiple step answers allows specific standards to be aligned to different steps or skills being assessed.

When matching new keys to existing materials, make simple adjustments to reorder, add, or remove questions. Simply select a question to move it up or down. Insert additional questions or delete questions, as well. So go ahead and add that reflection question!

For each auto-graded question type (multiple choice, number grid, fill-in-the-blank, and numeric), other responses can be given, along with their own point values for each response. This allows educators to give alternate and partial credit answers.

Pro Tip: Forgot to add alternate answers before handing out the assignment? No worries, simply click back to the answer key in Gradient, add your other answers and points. All collected student assignments will automatically be re-graded and updated.

I am very new to using CL. I have created a card sort and want to give students the opportunity to receive instant feedback. Is there a document with specific steps on how to do this?
I read through Computation Layer Documentation but there is not a sample code for Card Sort answers.

I too am VERY new to CL and would love a step by step to add to a card sort so students can see how many cards they have sorted correctly.
I want to learn but some of the computing language is confusing to me - thank you in advance!!!

I find with the publish to Word option it publishes the entire course, which is quite lengthy. This is confusing to someone who just needs to test a small portion of the course. Anyone have another more targeted solution? Thanks!

Publishing Storyline projects for Word is the common approach, but I can see how that could clutter the page. Have you tried unchecking the Show layers and Show slide notes properties?

I've created a project with a question bank and published it for Word, and I see the quiz questions listed in the document. I've attached a sample project to this discussion. Can you try publishing it for Word and letting me know if you see the question bank quiz slides in the .doc file?

Here's how I create answer keys: I screengrab each question slide in Storyline, since those show the correct answers selected. I paste those captured images into a Word file. Of course, that works best when there aren't too many questions. :-)

Thank you for your help! When I open your test and publish it into Word, I see the questions... In my course it doesn't work even though I checked the two boxes. The course was developed by an external agency. Is it possible that they set the settings in a way that prevents this?

There isn't an additional setting that will prohibit the answers from appearing. Are you also looking to show the correct answer on the slide if the learner answers incorrectly? If so, try changing the trigger on the review button on the Results Slide. Make sure it's set to show Correct/Incorrect responses.

If you wish to receive a copy of a Final Answer Key by email or regular mail, please email us at ExamPr...@nyct.com, and include your name, address, the last 4 digits of your Social Security number, the date and time you took your test, and the exam title and number.

Please be advised that due to technical issues, the release of some answer keys for Exam 4600 Conductor has been delayed. We are working diligently to resolve this issue and expect to have the answer keys posted by next Friday, June 7th. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

When answer sheets are printed, each student will indicate which form of the assessment they have been given for the system to score each answer sheet correctly. Results in the Report Manager will show as a single assessment.

Choose Hot Text, type your question in the top bar, and then enter your text into the text box. Highlight and then checkmark "hot text" every word you'd like to add to the optional answers list for students to choose from. To set the answer key, checkmark the bubble(s) next to the correct answer(s):

Choose Inline Choice and type in your question. Add a dropdown area where needed, and enter the answer options into the corresponding answer fields. To set the answer key, checkmark the bubble next to the correct answer for each dropdown:

Choose Match Table Grid and build the matrix. To set the answer key, after entering your text items (rows) and answer choices (columns), checkmark the grid cell corresponding with the correct answer choice for each text item:

Choose Matching and type your question. Make sure you list matching terms next to one another in the same row - this sets the answer key. Formative will take care of scrambling them for your students!

Choose Multiple Choice and type your question. Enter in answer choices by placing your cursor by each selection. Mark the circle next to the correct answer. It will then be saved in the correct answer key below.

Choose Multiple Selection and type your question. Enter in answer choices by placing your cursor by each selection. Mark the circle next to the correct answers. It will then be saved in the correct answer key below:

Choose True or False and type your question. Just like the Multiple Choice question, mark the circle either on True or False to mark the correct answer. It will then be saved in the correct answer key below.

If you'd like to test the answer key before assigning to students, use the Preview feature (the eyeball icon in the upper right). Your responses will show up on the "View Responses" tab under "Teacher Preview" and will be auto-graded according to your answer key.
