Position : Sr. Oracle DBA

Location – FortWorth, TX – Local to DFW area only

Rate - $55/-hr CTC/1099 or $50/-hr W2.

Duration – 6+ months

Job Description:

· The successful candidate will have a minimum of 9+ years Oracle specific experience.

· Experience in the following areas is required: 10g and 11g RAC with ASM. PL/SQL, Query Writing,

· Data manipulation and Movement etc. Basic database functionality like memory management, table partitioning, parallelism, table spaces etc.

· Experience with very Large OLTP system with very high transaction rate.

· Proactive monitoring and tuning of database/queries in OLTP environments.

· UNIX scripting.

· Should be able to communicate and work equally well with Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers. Airline industry knowledge is a plus.

Must Haves:

· Oracle 10g and 11i experience

· At least 9 years of Oracle DBA experience

· Very strong PL/SQL with at least 9 years’ experience

· RAC is a MUST

· ASM is a must
