Position : Reporting / data Anlayst
Location – Burlington, VT
Duration – 12 months
Client- Le duff
Rate – not more than $35/-hr CTC / 1099 or $30/-hr on W2
Phone interview only.
The Reporting Analyst is
responsible for creating technical solutions for management reporting
needs. In addition, this person will analyze all reports to ensure
accuracy. The analyst should also participate in streamlining processes and
increasing the efficiency and automation of reporting functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Gather requirements from management to create technical solutions such as reports, models, tracking tools, etc.
· Facilitate end-user support
· Maintain and optimize all existing management reports for all areas
· Create and run recurring and ad hoc reports for various levels of management
· Analyze reports to ensure accuracy
· Play a lead role in the optimization and automation of reports
· Develop effective analytical reporting using data from multiple sources
· Complete other special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
· Advanced MS Excel, Access, Reporting Services
· Advanced SQL querying and Database knowledge
· Advanced Crystal knowledge
· Must be able to accurately document processes and procedures
· Working knowledge of Visio
· Strong understanding of relational databases and database structure
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to formulate solutions to non-routine problems
· Self-starter and capable of working independently
· Able to work accurately and efficiently under intense time pressure
· Must be able to effectively prioritize multiple projects
· Excellent communication skills
· Must be able to interact effectively with all levels of management and end-users
· 5 years’ experience in business or financial analyst role
· Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technical field preferred
