Support for command line argument fuzzing via environment variable?

Hello,

for the wishlist: would it be difficult to set an environment variable (e.g. HF_OUTPUT) with the mutated output of honggfuzz?

Background: i have an application ('app') that wants it's input as an command line argument.

I hope that 

honggfuzz -i in -- app $HF_OUTPUT

would work then.
