The May 2014 OpenStack Summit is right around the corner.  The Summit will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta, May 12-16. Registration, the Call for Speakers, and Call for Sponsors are open. Please continue to check openstack.org/summit for updates.

Overview of OpenStack, how it's being used and how you can get started building an OpenStack cloud.

·         Hands-On Workshops (90 minutes) 
Hands-on OpenStack training for operators and application developers, which are typically 90-minute sessions.

·         Related OSS Projects 
Opportunity to present and discuss related open source projects, and how they are relevant for OpenStack users.

·         Apps on OpenStack 
Sessions relevant to developers and companies who are building applications to run on OpenStack clouds.

·         Cloud Strategy & Business Value 
Discussions for organizations planning their cloud strategy, including cultural issues, building a business case and cloud transformation.

·         Public & Hybrid Clouds 
Presentations and panels relevant to service providers/telcos and enterprises using public or hybrid cloud.

·         Ecosystem, Products & Services 
Presentations on the latest products and services from the OpenStack ecosystem, as well as topics relevant to companies working in the OpenStack ecosystem.

·         Compute 
Technical presentations, use cases, design and implementation discussions relevant to OpenStack compute.

·         Storage 
Technical presentations, use cases, design and implementation discussions relevant to OpenStack object or block storage.

·         Networking 
Technical presentations, use cases, design and implementation discussions relevant to OpenStack networking.

·         Security 
Technical presentations and strategic discussions relevant to cloud security and OpenStack.

Discussion around best practices, ideas and trends for growing the global OpenStack community.
