BUG? honeyview really slow on going to next/previous gif

I use both ACDSee very old version from early 2006 and recently try honeyview, so far honeyview lacks few features here and there but overall very good.

one major bug or defect needs to be fixed is that when browsing through a folder of .gif honeyview is extremely slow on loading next gif or previous gif.  in ACDSee for a 13 yr old software fly through no problem, and honeyview can look at still picture no problem very fast, but only when it is .gif it waits ~2 sec before loading next gif and this is very inefficient.

I even try to see if once .gif is loaded and go back if it'll be fast but its not.

When opening an animated GIF file, Honeyview decodes every frame of the file on the system's memory and takes a long time to open the GIF file if it has a great number of frames.
