"turn page when left or right side of screen is clicked" is slow compared to clickable side areas

the option "turn page when left or right side of screen is clicked" is slow compared to when left/right sides are clicked, we cannot browse pics rapidly with this option like when left/right clicked, please fix it

another suggestion:

on faststone viewer when hovering in clickable areas a arrow will show indicating previous or next image, implementing this would be helpful to people
