Hi. I'm experiencing rather annoying bug in Honeyview, which is that any image it opens is initially displayed overly sharpened, with lots of white artifacts along the crisp edges.
Then if I zoom in/out the images goes back to being soft and pleasant again, and stays so even if zoomed out/in back to the initial zoom level.
It started happening long time ago, and thought someone will eventually realize this and fixes it, but alas it's still present to this day (currently using version 5.46).
I tried different options for resampling and zoom level, but that doesn't make any difference and any image is still too crisp and just awful to look at when initially displayed.
I attatched a screenshot.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open any image in Honeview. look carefully the edges are sharp.
2. Press + then - to zoom in and out and notice the images softened significantly and it lookes much better.
3. Press Enter to re-open the image and notice it gets overly crisp again.
Expected results:
An image should be looking exactly the same at the same zoom level all the time (pre and post zoom level adjustments) and disable this sharpening altogether.

Please fix it. Honeyview is the best otherwise and I hate to use any other program.
Cheers.

Hello, this is Bandisoft.

If you zoom in or out an image with Honeyview, because of the processing speed problem, the program ignores the filter applied to the image when you view it at the default zoom level. We have a plan to fix this problem with the next major update, but we ask you for much understanding that the problem cannot be avoided in the current version of the program.

Please contact us again if you have any other questions or issues.

Best regards,
Bandisoft

Hi. Thank you for your reply. I'm glad it wasn't just my imagination and you're know this issue. I remember this not happening long time ago, but this could probably be because back then I had a different monitor and was used to mages bad image quality =P
Again,  thank you for all your hard work. Honeyview is so close to being perfect. I hope this gets resolved quickly.
Regards,

Hi. I've noticed today the 32-bit portable version doesn't have this bug - the images look good and exactly the same all the time. Cheers.
