compositing mode on gif insert

I don't understand what mode you are using to combine the images. I have a white image with black font and I insert the same gif and make the opacity 64. I then get a grey background, the white has become grey and the black has become dark grey. I tried to create this in my photoshop but couldn't. How are you mixing the colours?

Hi, 

As you pointed out, we have some problems with alpha blending.

I've just made some changes and it works fine with white images but not with black images :(

I think we need some time to clear this issue thoroughly.
