We, the people infected with drug-resistant tuberculosis (DR-TB), live in every part of the world.
Dear Julio Martinez
On behalf of the DR-TB Manifesto authors, Phumeza Tisile and Dr. Jenny Hughes, and all the other patients and medical care providers fighting for better drug-resistant tuberculosis (DR-TB) testing and treatment, thank you for joining the "Test Me, Treat Me" DR-TB Manifesto campaign! Raising awareness about this epidemic is a huge challenge -- and we need your help to make progress! We’re writing today to ask for your help in gathering as many signatures as possible as we take the DR-TB Manifesto and supporting signatures to the World Health Assembly in May 2014 to call for universal access to diagnosis and treatment, for better drug regimens to be developed, and for full funding of these efforts by the international community. Your involvement in spreading the word is critical to MSF, to our patients, and to all who suffer from this terrible disease. Here are THREE ways you can help:
(1) If you are on Facebook, please ask your friends to sign the petition (you can use the pre-filled FB post on the website - just click the Facebook icon at the bottom of the screen)
(2) If you are on Twitter please TWEET THIS! » Test Me Treat Me: People with drug-resistant #TB & their doctors call for urgent change in #TBManifesto. Join them www.tbpetition.org
(3) Email or talk to your friends about the issue, and send them the link to the campaign website: www.tbpetition.org/
